The short version. Weightless has no sign-up, no login and no server of ours. Your debts, balances, interest rates and payments are written to your iPhone and stay there. We cannot read them, and neither can anyone else without your phone and its passcode.
1. Who is responsible

2. What Weightless stores on your device
Everything below is written to the app's private storage area on your iPhone. It is not transmitted to us.

Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, which is worth knowing before you delete: use Settings → Export in the app first if you want to keep your history.
3. What we receive
Nothing about your debts, your balances, your income or your payments. The app makes no network requests to any server operated by us, because we operate none.
Two things do involve third parties, and both are limited to the purchase itself:
- Apple processes your subscription. We never see your payment details. Apple gives us aggregated, anonymized sales and usage statistics through App Store Connect, such as how many people in a country subscribed. These cannot be traced back to you by us.
- RevenueCat, Inc. validates and keeps track of subscription status on our behalf. It receives a randomly generated app user identifier, your subscription and trial status, your country and basic device type. It does not receive your name, your email, or anything you entered about your debts.
4. Diagnostics and crash reports
Weightless writes usage events, such as which setup screen you reached, to the iPhone's own system log. That log stays on your device and is not sent to us.
If you have turned on Share iPhone Analytics in iOS Settings, Apple may send us crash reports and performance data about the app. Those reports contain technical information about the crash, not your debt data. You can turn that off at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security.
5. Face ID and Touch ID
If you enable the app lock, unlocking is handled by iOS. Weightless is told only whether the unlock succeeded. Your biometric data never leaves Apple's secure hardware and is never available to us.
6. Legal grounds and your rights
For the purchase-related data described in section 3, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and on our legitimate interest in preventing fraudulent subscription claims (Art. 6(1)(f)).
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to data portability. In practice we hold almost nothing: the data that matters is on your phone, where you can export it or erase it yourself at any time from the app's settings. For anything else, write to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident: we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Data retention and transfers
Your app data lives on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained for as long as needed to service your subscription and to meet accounting obligations. RevenueCat processes data in the United States under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Children
Weightless is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
